It cost $28 million to sit next to the Bezos Brothers and fly into space with them when the fifth seat of the Blue Origin Space Flight was auctioned.
Being 18, one can only dream of having that amount of money to experience something extraordinary, hoping that one day they'll be sitting on that flight to space.
I know it sounds pretty unrealistic, but I am 100% sure that I will travel into space. I don't know how or when, but it will happen.
Though a ticket from Blue Origin seems pretty expensive, Virgin Galactic, on the other hand, only costs $250,000, which seems quite affordable comparatively.
However, it has been estimated that within the next 2-3 decades, the price of space tourism will drop significantly, and humans will take another step forward in the new era of AI and space. It's dark, scary, exciting, and worth living every day.
PS: What the heck does Richard Branson drink to maintain such high energy levels at the age of 72?
