God save me from this bone-chilling winter in UP. What's up with the folks here in NCR? Can't they feel the cold? Don't they realize it's winter? The temperature outside my dorm room nosedives below 15 degrees Celsius as soon as the sun sets.
Yet, the college ducklings stroll around in shorts and t-shirts, spouting the same old "It's not cold; winter is still on its way."
For 19 years, I soaked up life in Visakhapatnam. A soothing coastal paradise of the Indian peninsula, with its humid temperatures and stunning beaches embraced by hazy breezes. Winter felt like a distant concept there.
As everyone knows, winter makes you lazy, craving the warmth of your snug quilt, yearning to snooze all day like a sloth. Meh!
To combat this, I've picked up running every other day. It gets my heart pumping, keeps my body warm, and ensures I don't turn into the pudgy guy on campus.
I cherish my body and health. I want a long, healthy life.
Despite the biting cold, I pushed myself to leave my quilt this evening for a brisk 3km run on the grounds. Phew, it was tiring but worth every breath, followed by a 10-minute meditation to center myself.
People can't stop talking about manifestation, especially my dear elder sister, gearing up for her wedding. Yippee ki Yayy!
Anyhow, aside from her impending nuptials, she keeps insisting on one thing: manifesting always brings what you desire.
So, here I am. Before you jump to conclusions, I get it—I've got a lot on my plate with end-semester exams looming. But... I do have a wish, a hope for something wonderful to happen after that.
Especially for Fabulous February.
Bye!
Catch you tomorrow!
