When will the day come when I wake up to a perfect morning? I slept until 3 in the morning, but please, let's not discuss what I was up to at that hour. Besides, it was Sunday, so that should justify it.
This led me to rush to class on an empty stomach, skipping breakfast! Why, you ask? Well, I woke up at 8:45 AM and had to scramble to get ready. I really craved boiled eggs and bread, but I just couldn't manage it. How on earth does Harsh manage to have breakfast every day and still make it to class on time?
Anyway, like every Monday, I only had one CSET 101 class today, but the biometric attendance drama was as predictable as ever. I wanted to shout as I stood in line for my biometric scan, "Focus on studying, people!"
Class ended, and Harsh was ecstatic about the fact that there was still time to register for SIH until midnight. He wanted to assemble a team to participate. The only requirements were six people with at least one girl.
I headed straight to Riddhi, but she was already in another group. Prajakta had also been taken. So, I looked for Skye, but she had no interest. Cool! Were there no girls left at all? Wait, even Prachi was already working with another team. We had almost lost hope, and it seemed that day scholars were not keen on a 36-hour hackathon. Honestly, I wasn't either, but the promise of unlimited coffee and beverages was too enticing to resist. You bring food to the table, and I'll be there.
Oh, how could I forget A? I asked, and she was ready to join us. Problem one solved. Now, onto problem two: finding skilled coders. We managed to recruit Anshuman and then headed to the Non-Veg Cafeteria to discuss the idea and problem we wanted to solve. Just wait; I'll share more about the chicken later in this blog.
I picked up a few more team members and returned to my dorm room to wash my nightwear and undergarments. I got tired and decided to take a nap.
I also had paneer for lunch in the mess after three days, and my taste buds rejoiced.
I changed into my pajamas and asked Skye to save me some noodles and tea from the snacks. She did, and I want to thank her so much for that. I know I can be annoying sometimes, but you know I love you. You are like a dear sister to me in this college, and I can share anything with you without hesitation. You're a mature, understanding, and caring person. One thing I want to learn from you is how to be more sociable, stop judging people, and be kind to them like you are. I'll learn with time. Your presence makes everyone happy, and if you know what I mean, be like this forever, and please tie me a rakhi next season.
Now, let's move on to the Aryan Chapter. He's the all-rounder of our group, and he's been hounding me for days to help him register for clubs and fill out forms. No problem at all; it was my pleasure to assist, and I appreciate that you found my help valuable. I sincerely hope you get into one of the chapters or clubs.
Vanshi, I owe you 70 bucks. Just give me a few more days, and I'll return it to you. It's not that I don't have the money right now; it's just that I'll do it later.
Oh, and for those who think I don't mention you in my blogs, I do, and starting today, I'll highlight when it's necessary.
Also, Vanshi, I know you take amazing pictures of me, and I love admiring myself, but please understand that I am not the "center of attention" in our block, and I don't have that kind of content on my laptop. By the way, weren't you the one who was all alone this weekend?
I skipped dinner and will embark on an 18-hour fasting spree until breakfast tomorrow, as I currently have no appetite. Skipping meals a few times a day makes me feel light and energetic.
I tackled a few tutorial worksheets and studied until I received some unexpected messages from A. I'm not sure what it was about, and I don't want to discuss it right now.
It's been almost three months since I've had any non-veg, other than eggs. I really miss my mom's homemade chicken and fish. The tantalizing aroma from the non-veg cafeteria tempted me to sneak into the kitchen and grab a succulent chicken leg to satisfy my craving. But we'll see when I'll finally get to savor that delicious chicken!
Until then,
Adios, fellas! See you tomorrow!
GNSD.
PS : No Pics for the day !
You need to write a book already! 🤩
