I've been drifting lately, away from what truly matters to me. My dreams and ambitions are my guiding stars, and in the past few weeks, I've let them flicker.
Back in the day, I was all about financial markets, devouring books and articles, making investments (though I've liquidated everything by now), following influential figures, and soaking up their wisdom through podcasts. I was on fire!
Somewhere along the way, I loosened my grip on my passions and went with the flow. It's high time I refocus on my goals, engage in meaningful conversations with ambitious souls, and rekindle my first startup idea, "Elegance." (Ideathon Victory ) It's time to turn the impossible into the possible.
You see, in college life, unless you're crystal clear about your 'why,' you'll wander aimlessly, just as Simon Sinek always emphasizes. It's time for some self-reflection and growth. Lately, I've been missing the wisdom of Ankur Warikoo. He's my go-to when I'm feeling lost.
College is a treasure trove of opportunities, and I'd be a fool to let them slip by without achieving something extraordinary. I refuse to get lost in the sea of mediocrity and become just another face in the crowd.
Enough chit-chat and tomfoolery. Let's get back to the grind, my friends!
other than the ambitious side of me.
It's been ages since I last shared anything with you. Wondering why? Well, the past few weeks have been a whirlwind of emotions, filled with festivities, exams, and a tad bit of my own laziness that's been cozying up with me under my quilt.
Oh, Bennett University has been swept up by winter's icy grasp, and the nights are bone-chilling. Thank the heavens for those hand gloves I ordered, or my poor hands would've turned into frozen icicles.
As for my finances, October decided to be quite the spendthrift. I had to stock up on warm, snugly clothes and indulged in a spree of fast food delights, from pizzas to burgers, biryani, and late-night chai or coffee at Kathi House. These nocturnal visits have become our new study ritual at the Learning Resource Center, where that warm drink provided the comfort we craved.
By the way, attempting to coax free coffee from the Cabinet Tag machine was a hilarious failure.
These past weeks have been a rollercoaster, filled with highs and lows. I owe a massive shoutout to my buddies Divine and Rhyna, who helped me in burning the midnight oil, conquering my arch-nemesis: math. Studying alone? Not an option. Thanks a ton!
And can we talk about the epic study session we had as a group? Unbelievable!
Now, let's not delve into Garba Night, but I'll definitely share the pics later.
P.S. Prom Night is on the horizon. Get ready!
