Today, I watched the second season of Rocket Boys and it made me cry. It wasn't just a few tears rolling down my cheeks, it was a full-blown emotional breakdown. The show touched my heart and made me feel a range of emotions from sadness to anger.
As an Indian, I felt deeply saddened to see how America bullied India with respect to its nuclear program and tried to stop India from becoming a full-fledged nuclear nation. The show beautifully depicted the struggles and challenges that our Indian scientists faced during the initial years of nuclear program development.
Despite facing so many challenges, our Indian scientists worked relentlessly to make India a powerful nation. The show highlighted the contribution of Homi Bhabha, who played a crucial role in the establishment of atomic energy and nuclear reactors in India.
It was heartbreaking to see Homi Bhabha's death in the show. He died while traveling to Vienna for a conference in a plane crash. His death was a huge loss to the nation, and I couldn't help but cry when I saw it on the show.
Watching the show made me realize how much our scientists have contributed to the growth of India as a powerful nation. They faced so many obstacles, but they persevered and never gave up. It was inspiring to see their dedication and hard work.
Rocket Boys season 2 made me cry, but it also made me proud to be an Indian. It was an emotional rollercoaster that left me feeling grateful and appreciative of our country's scientific community.
It's disheartening to see the current generation of students solely focused on getting into a good college and landing a high-paying job. While job security is important, it seems like students have lost sight of the bigger picture. Instead of striving to make a difference and contribute to the nation's growth, students are solely focused on their own careers.
It's disappointing to see how little emphasis is being placed on research and development. Today's generation seems content with following the same beaten path as everyone else, rather than dreaming big and striving to make a significant impact.
We need more people with a common vision who are willing to put in the effort to achieve the impossible.
Instead of chasing their dreams, students today are wasting their time on social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, getting influenced by cheap influencers like Andrew Tate and listening to trash music of Cardi B & Nicki Minaj ,with little to no meaningful content. It's sad to see this lack of ambition and creativity in today's youth.
