Happy Janmashtami

Just one early class to kickstart the day, then I almost missed breakfast but eventually managed to snatch a meal from the first-floor mess. Anshuman, having arrived directly from home, enjoyed a hearty feast, devouring two to three vadas.

Breakfast wasn't a culinary masterpiece; it arrived late and served cold. Nevertheless, I savored a comforting cup of coffee.

The remainder of the day was a tranquil slumber, broken only by a single ECE Tutorials class in the evening, where I nearly ran late, reasons best left untold.

My roommate's absence for four days was a cause for celebration! Likewise, my other dear friends, Harsh, Namish, and Ayush, were also away. Have a blast with your families, guys! 😊

As I lounged in my room, contemplating homework, Ishaan and Shaswath made an unexpected entrance. Laughter and chatter filled the air.

They then invited me to join them at the Janmashtami event near the D3 Stage. Initially, I lacked the inclination to dress up in ethnic attire and attend, but seeing everyone in their vibrant, colorful outfits stirred my motivation. I decided to get ready and join the festivities.

Descending to the event area, I was awestruck by the mesmerizing preparations and the stage adorned with countless diyas. It was an experience worth savoring.

Did I mention I'd been fasting for over 13 hours since morning? Dinner became my savior, preventing me from fainting.

The Bhajans, Kirtans, dance performances, and band acts were truly captivating. The Sampada club had orchestrated a spectacular show.

The performances concluded by 9 PM but resumed just before half-past midnight. In the meantime, we took a leisurely stroll around campus, covering an astonishing 20,000 steps, equivalent to approximately 15 kilometers. My legs were begging for mercy.

We captured beautiful, stunning photographs, relished prasad, and danced (well, not me—I was deep in conversation with Krishna).

Farewell for now... Tomorrow, I plan to sleep through the entire morning and may need some medication. My body's sending distress signals, craving a hearty breakfast, perhaps even skipping lunch.

By the way, I did something rather foolish; I asked Prachi outright if she and Aryan were an thing. They share an undeniable bond, always together. I offered my apologies, wondering if my curiosity had crossed a line.

Sayonara, folks! 🌟
