Highs and Lows

The day had a rough start, with a hefty cough and a fever that hovered in the mid-high range. But guess what? That didn't deter me from marching right into that orientation session. Now, can someone please explain why the classroom resembled a maze? The coordinator had us practically dancing around, moving from here to there during the orientation. Honestly, it was like a frustrating puzzle.

Enter Harsh Bhardwaj, the definition of cool and smart rolled into one. This dude? A total gem. Not only did he have a wealth of knowledge in the backend realm, but get this – he wasn't hooked on Instagram. Check, check, and check! Sometimes, it's the little things that make all the difference.

Then, cue the mic drop moment – a 3rd-year student stepped in, sharing his tales of achievements and stumbles, all at a ridiculously young age. Seriously, talk about FOMO hitting like a freight train. Bless that guy and his dynamism.Oh, and let's not forget the fever's encore performance. Just as me and Anshuman hunkered down to study in the library (thank you, AC), guess who decided to make a grand appearance? That's right – fever.

It's like it had a vendetta against my study plans.Later, I said my goodbyes to the world and surrendered to sleep's embrace, only to be rudely awakened by a phone call. Amazon was on my case about a parcel, my lounge wear to be exact. Now, here's where the squad came in clutch – Skye, Dhaarna, Vansh, and Dhairya united forces to receive the package while munching on their snacks.

Absolute lifesavers. However, I still found myself making a mad dash 5 blocks away because, you guessed it, the Amazon agent was relentless. But wait, in the midst of this sprint, I managed to bump into the crew, exchanging a few words before continuing my mission and ultimately crashing back onto my bed.

Then came the lifeline – a lengthy video chat session with Parivesh, Yogesh, Shareen Didi, and Sandhya Didi. Mom had a cameo too, but she was swamped with her own stuff. Nevertheless, talking to them revived my emotional mojo, rekindling my strength.Speaking of the gang, they were all assembled at the Gobble Mess, waiting like guardian angels. I confess, I wasn't the sweetest – I zoomed straight to the food. Can you blame me?

My phone was hanging on by a thread, and I couldn't afford it dying on me, robbing me of that crucial QR code for dinner. Now, night had fallen, but that didn't mean it was bedtime. We embarked on a campus nocturnal adventure – a late-night walk. The team was a mixed bag of ailments: Vansh, battling sickness; Sujal, hanging onto his own; and Skye, busy making friends with the local canine crew. As for me? Terrified of dogs, I found my safe haven on Dhairya's lap. True story.

The day was a rollercoaster of ups and downs, much like a heartbeat graph pulsating on a monitor. And now, as I wrap up this tale, it's time to put a bow on it.

But not before sharing the grand finale – the picture of the day.So long, farewell, and all those jazz hands. Until next time, adieu!
