Who are we? Aren't we simply minuscule beings navigating this awe-inspiring, vast Universe?
In just 48 hours, I'll be tackling my mid-semester exams. It's crystal clear that to excel, I must hit the books, and that's precisely what I'm doing.
I find myself in the shoes of a remarkably fortunate son, enjoying life's luxuries thanks to my dad's unwavering support, while pursuing my education at a renowned private university. Embracing the vibrant hostel life with all its student perks.
Right now, as I recline in my snug dorm room, cocooned in my soft, warm quilt, I'm diligently working towards my dreams, yearning for a future filled with happiness.
From the deepest chambers of my heart, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my dear Mom and Dad for lavishing me with love, support, and boundless joy, providing everything a child could hope for.
And my sisters, who are always by my side, lending a helping hand whenever I reach out to them.
Why this surge of emotions, you ask? Well, in this dizzying world, we often overlook the importance of pausing, reflecting on our blessings, and cherishing the people in our lives, letting empathy shine through.
On my side of the globe, I'm striving to craft a promising future for myself, while on the other side, there's a brutal war raging, lives hanging in the balance, innocent children orphaned, tears, and pain omnipresent, with hope being a distant memory. The future for them is shrouded in darkness.
I'm lost, words fail me. All I want is to shed a tear and share in the anguish that my fellow human beings endure.
What lessons can we, as students, glean from the turmoil unfolding in our world? This cycle was there before my time, persists in my presence, and will endure after I'm gone. It's an unending cycle - misery arrives uninvited, joy makes a fleeting appearance, and we remain trapped in this perpetual loop.
Where does our destiny truly lie? Will the term "future" persist, or will it gradually fade into the recesses of memory with each gust of wind?
Why do we insist on fighting? What if both sides could find happiness in defeat? What if peace were the ultimate victory?
Why should our bodies be governed by others, and why should a select few dictate how we live, whom we live with, and what we do? Who granted them this authority?
I'm sure you know what I'm talking about - the perplexing Supreme Court.
