I Want to Win. There's Nothing in Losing !

Panic! Panic! Panic! Those were the only words that escaped my lips throughout the entire day.

I had a daunting deadline looming at 3 PM, a PPT to craft for our ideathon, a shower to squeeze in, and a crash course on Matplotlib to master before explaining our awe-inspiring sound visualizer project for the CS endeavor.

So, what had I accomplished? Zilch. Wait, let me correct that. I rose early and powered through lectures from 9 AM to 12:30 PM, sans breakfast or a shower.

In fact, I was so groggy that morning, I couldn't muster the enthusiasm to hop into the shower. After the lectures finally concluded, I dashed to my room, promising myself I'd handle everything after a delightful lunch with my pals – Sam, Skye, Misha, Ananya, Ikshita, and two more pals.

First on the agenda was piecing together that essential PPT presentation to pitch our startup. And then, the CS Lab beckoned, just 30 minutes away. I still hadn't managed to bathe, so I had to hustle – I arrived 15 minutes late.

But, miraculously, our presentation and project were nothing short of legendary! The teacher was so blown away that they didn't even grill us with questions, generously granting us a perfect 10/10. Ours was the only group in the batch to achieve this feat.

All credits go to the Steve Woz of my team "Harsh Bharadwaj".

I felt a mix of elation and guilt. Taking credit for others' work didn't sit right with me, especially considering I hadn't lifted a finger, nor had Ananya.

Let's pause here for a moment...

Ah, I even made Dhaarna sprint up and down the stairs to collect my delivered order. My apologies for the trouble and thanks for your assistance during my busy day.

Three-quarters of the day had slipped away when it was time to make our pitch. Nervousness and excitement coursed through my veins. My confidence was soaring, as the other teams fumbled their presentations – they were total wrecks.

Then, it was my turn. I took the stage by storm, leaving everyone in awe. The audience erupted in applause, even the judge couldn't contain his delight – he had no questions! A standing ovation followed, and my confidence skyrocketed.

Though we didn't clinch the victory, treating ourselves to Samosas and Fanta made the experience entirely worth it, especially with the thrill of presenting in front of so many people.

Later on, I experienced a sudden panic attack. Breathing became a struggle, perhaps because of the combined weight of nervousness and anxiety about the results and delivering my speech. Still, I managed to calm myself down. Namish and Dheer joined me for dinner.

Then, at a late hour, it was time for the Student Council interview. I had anticipated a grueling session, but to my surprise, it was a breeze. No questions, just a breeze through the process. I found out that someone from the Student Cabinet had recommended me, giving me a significant edge.

I couldn't help but love it! This day had been one of the most amazing ones I'd ever experienced. I was on cloud nine.

But enough reminiscing – it's time to hit the books for the upcoming Mid-Semester Exams. Buckle up, baby!
