In Awe of the Spectacular Bhaiyas and Didis!

Today's Orientation didn't quite hit the mark like yesterday's awesome one did. But hey, let's talk about Mr. Sudhanshu Sharma – he's our college's COO, and man, he's got this cool, charismatic vibe going on. He had us cracking up, and he dropped some wisdom bombs about college life, keeping our parentals proud, and not letting mistakes bring us down.

So, let's rewind to the afternoon. I wandered over to the Hatchery and Entrepreneurship Dept, ditching lunch along the way. Picture this: I stroll into an empty room, and there's this one dude rocking a black tee, all serious at his desk. I go up like, "Hey, what's cookin'?" Turns out, he's building a startup, had internships since his second year, and he's about to graduate. This Bhaiya's project, team, and ideas had me all excited and inspired. Major props to him for being a hardworking rockstar.

He spilled some knowledge, and while we're deep in conversation, a cool 3rd-year didi hops in. Wanna guess what she's up to? She's crafting an Android game. Mind = blown. The game actually worked like a charm.

Let me introduce you to these awesome peeps – Advait Bhaiya and Chaitanya didi. Seriously hoping our paths cross again someday!

Now, brace yourself, 'cause this part's gonna be a tad long, but trust me, it's packed with awesomeness.

Later on, I hung out with Anshuman, our day scholar buddy, and Tanisha, the hosteller extraordinaire. Their pals Saumya and Daksh joined in too. Still getting to know each of them, but it's already a hoot!

After class, I said bye to Anshuman and headed straight to the room 'cause my roomie Suyash was off to his home turf. Bye, buddy!

As I cruised down to catch the Nukkad Natak and Dance Show, guess what happened? I bumped into two total brainiacs – Namish and Aryan – in the elevator. We chatted, and these dudes blew my expectations out of the water. They both schooled at Ryan International School and had some seriously cool stories.

Okay, let's dive into the juicy part of the day!

Remember the couple from BCA 2nd year I met yesterday? Super humble, polite, and fun folks for sure. Had a nice little chat, but we didn't swap digits 'cause it was a quick encounter.

Well, hold onto your hats 'cause fate had other plans. I walked into dinner, starving 'cause I'd skipped breakfast and snacks, and then BAM – I hear "KRISH" and "RAJAN." I whip around, and there they are again, just like that. I was floored. How did they even remember my name? Am I not just another fresher? I couldn't believe it!

Honestly, I kinda blanked on their names, and I felt bad for forgetting. But they were cool about it, and we sat down for a good old chat and story-sharing session.

Now, the mess was a bit chaotic, but I ditched my phone pal for these two. Talking to seniors and soaking up their college stories just tickles me pink. Trust me, I really needed these two rays of sunshine after a bit of a rough day. There are some not-so-great peeps around, especially on my floor, but that's a tale for another day.

I fired away with questions, we had dinner together, and I even scored Ansh Bhaiya's number – win! Oh, and yes, I've got their names down now – Ansh B and Manvi D.

Guess what? They think I'm cute and innocent – they even nicknamed me "Cutipie." Not gonna lie, I don't mind the appreciation one bit.

Turns out, they're just as rad as I thought. Hanging out with open-minded, playful seniors with a killer sense of humor? Sign me up!

See you in the future, Bs and Ds.

Major shoutout to all the other Bs and Ds putting in the effort to make Freshers' Week a whirlwind of fun and energy. You guys rock, and I know you're working your butts off behind the scenes to make it happen.

Got a little concern though:

I swear, I don't mean to offend anyone, but if you're reading this and feel like I'm stepping on your toes, I'm sorry in advance. I'm all about respect for everyone here in college, but let's be real – some folks have the whole class, manners, and OLQs thing going on. It doesn't cost a dime to have soft skills and ace communication. Being an introvert, I appreciate discipline and good language. Maybe our upbringings were different.

And those seniors who still look like freshers? Long hair, beards, and all that? Well, maybe they spent a few too many years prepping for the entrance exams and missed out on their teen years. Who knows?

Catch you on the flip side,

Buenos noches, baby!
