"I never ever cheated in exams ", wish I could say this proudly. I was totally against it, I don't why but it never came to my mind, "Okay so I am going to cheat in tomorrow's exam"
Maybe just because I was always prepared for it or never worried about failing.
I think maybe I am the only one whose dad insisted to cheat whenever I used to get low marks😂, to be among high scorers (every parent wants).
For me, it made no sense to cheat and get marks(morally wrong and against my principles)till class 10😅😊
My principles went to hell when I was about to fail in Class 11😱💀.
Why?
What do you expect from a teenager to do when classes are being conducted online and with cameras being switched off, unlimited access to Netflix, TV, and wireless headphones to just plug in and go anywhere you want. It's a dream come true for every kid 😘
And please don't talk about online exams. The school literally got schooled this time🤣🤣.
And the transition from 10 to 11th in terms of volume was WTFFF!
So I had to cheat to pass.😢
Now let's move on to the question, Is it bad to copy or cheat?
It can be Yes and No.
Humans have evolved by copying each other and it's not bad at all up to a certain limit.
Companies copy each other works, we copy fashion and style and try to change our behavior as per our role models, and so on...
It's in our blood and basic instinct, it's just that we are hypocrites, and schools and institutions just don't care about what to do.
If they literally cared, they could brainstorm why kids do cheating and how we can prevent it or maybe teach them some valuable lessons.
If you would ask me what to do?
I would suggest there should be a mock exam conducted and everyone should be allowed to cheat, later the teacher should ask "which question did you copy, and have you remembered it now?"
It was one of the observations I noticed that we tend to remember something for long enough when we ourselves want to know badly.
I wish I could conduct this experiment on at least 50 students and get a detailed report, to study it, and the after-effects on our human mind.
