Hello, hello, world! Where are you, and what'cha doin'? Yesterday started like any other day until the late evening. I had no clue about the exhilarating Ideathon event organized by IIT Bombay and powered by Bennett Hatchery that was underway.
Then, out of the blue, Namish approached me, inviting me to join him and others. Although he lacked a groundbreaking idea, I was brimming with a multitude of brilliant thoughts. One of them was the... well, I won't spill the beans just yet, but I've given it the name "Elegance." I don't know why I chose that name, but it just felt, well, elegant! LOL.
Later on, dinner at the mess was nothing to write home about. I was craving something spicy to satisfy my appetite. So, at around 10:30 PM, I splurged 80 bucks on Choley Bhature from Katchi House. Trust me, aside from the two Bhature, it was a letdown, far from being delicious. But it did manage to quell the rumbling in my belly.
Lately, what's up with me? The night before that, I indulged in a Paneer Tikka Roll worth 100 bucks with Raghav at 1:00 AM. Suddenly, Sandhya didi called and started interrogating me about my whereabouts and activities outside my dorm. There's so much happening in college, and a ton of work to shuffle around different building blocks. So, please, chill out and keep your worries to yourself. Don't always question why I'm up so late. Isn't it hypocritical to ask what I was doing when I had no clue about your college life during your MBA days? A bit too judgmental, sis. Take a chill pill.
I've also been skipping quite a few meals lately. Not because I don't want to eat, but I've had a sugar overload in the past week. Balancing my nutrients and utilizing my body's fat for energy while shedding some calories seems like a smart move to lose weight and stay fit. I'm not neglecting vitamins, proteins, or fiber, though.
Now, back to last night's adventure. At 11:30 PM, I received a call informing me that my idea had been selected for the Ideathon Competition, and we had the chance to pitch it. I was over the moon about it, especially considering that only 25 teams made the cut. I know it may not be a big deal, but who cares? Finding happiness in the little things makes me happy. After that, I teamed up with Priyanshu to create a poster for the study abroad fair. We stayed up all night, and I got to know him better. He's a fantastic learner and an amazing person. I learned so much from him, and he had some valuable connections to IKIYK.
Though I didn't adore the poster 100%, it turned out pretty good. I finally returned to my room around 5:30 in the morning and slept until 11:30, skipping breakfast. And now, here I am, writing this blog, hungry for six hours straight, desperately in need of a shower before dinner.
So, buh-bye! PS: I'm not having any dreams. Help!
