God, it's enough now. I have emailed the Meditopia Team more than 7 times from 7 different Gmail IDs, yet I have not received a single reply from them. I even used their free trial period from every account,
But keeping track of my progress makes me accountable and helps me study my pattern which can be done through using only one Id.
So, I just wanted to ask them to give me a free subscription for 6 months, which they did earlier, but I don't know what the hell is wrong with their customer support team now. It's all black out there.
This frustration led me to download a mod APK from Google, but little did I know that the APK was not an actual replica of the app. Rather, it was a bloatware that started causing pop-ups on my phone every damn second and made my phone vulnerable to use. I got shit scared about my device's safety and all my bank account details and finance app data, etc., wondering whether it was going to get hacked or not.
And that little ******** was not installed as an application but was just file processing in the background, which disguised itself from other apps, making it hard to find and uninstall in the settings. I got so confused about which app was responsible for the virus as there are many important preinstalled system APKs essential for my phone.
I had a really energetic morning after running 6K, though it turned out pretty intense when, rather than meditating, my mind was going towards that virus eating my phone. Hence, I started Googling how to identify and remove unwanted files, and then I found out about Google Files (which I knew earlier but never used until now),
which saved my ass today. It cleanly segregated the system apps and installed apps and large hidden files taking up a ton of storage. Then I picked that rat and completely removed it from my phone.
Finally, I did not have to factory reset my phone, which I kinda think is a lame thing to do when you have GOOGLE BABA behind your back. Ad pop-ups stopped, and my phone was back as before, everything resolved. Though I had a chat with the Google support team about this and they were not reachable early in the morning, they did help me by the end of the day.
This incident helped me understand why Steve Jobs aimed to make Apple an end-to-end encryption device with limited third-party app installations and customization. He recognized this phenomenon early on and ensured that end customers had a smooth and hassle-free phone usage experience. Additionally, Apple created an entire ecosystem out of it, which is quite remarkable and impressive.
As a result, I would love to switch from Android to iOS in the future.
