I'm so excited to talk about the fascinating topic of lucid dreaming. It's a state where you are aware that you are dreaming and can control the dream. I first became interested in it after watching Tom Cruise's movie, Vanilla Sky, where the character finds himself in a lucid dream after a car accident. The idea of controlling my own dream world sounded like a thrilling experience.
It does have its own pros and cons. As, It can help overcome fears, phobias, and nightmares. It can also improve creativity and problem-solving skills. where you can explore your imagination and do things you cannot do in real life.
However, it can also be challenging to achieve, some people may become so engrossed in their lucid dreams that they neglect their real-world responsibilities.
I have tried to be lucid in my dreams, but I have not been successful in controlling them. I often end up going with the flow of the dream, enjoying the ride but not being fully in control. Nonetheless, the idea of lucid dreaming still fascinates me, and I continue to try and practice it.
I don't know if it's true, but my elder sister told me that she can achieve lucidity in her dreams and control her imagination. It seems hard to believe.
If you want to practice lucid dreaming, there are several steps you can take. Keeping a dream journal and recording your dreams every morning can help you recognize patterns and increase dream recall.
Performing reality checks throughout the day, like looking at a clock or checking your reflection in a mirror, can train your mind to question reality.
Meditation and visualization before bed can also increase your chances of having a lucid dream.
